[Siren Publishing The Lynn Hagen ManLove Collection Erotic Alternative Paranormal Menage a Trois Romance, M/M/M, shape-shifters, werewolves, HEA] Damien was tortured for five long years, and, years later, he still hasn't dealt with what happened to him. When he and Cage race to rescue a human under attack, Damien realizes that Owen is his mate. Not even a day later, Jace walks into his life, and Damien fights the pull, convinced that he isn't sane enough to be loved. Owen's life takes a turn for the worst when his roommate beats him up over and over again because Owen refuses to work at Ernest's brothel. Worse, Ernest just sold Owen to a rich investor, and Owen fights not to be taken. Jace was kicked out when his father found out he was gay. He stumbles into a coffee shop and discovers both his mates. He has to do some quick talking after not only Owen, but Damien, too, race away from him. Who said mating was ever easy? Note This book contains double penetration. ** A Siren Erotic Romance
Heart of a Wolf [Wolves of Desire 6] Siren Publishing The Lynn Hagen ManLove Collection edition by Lynn Hagen Literature Fiction eBooks
We met Owen (human) in the last book, 'Worthy of Cage's Love'. He works at a pet shop and sold Mr. Henry, a bunny, to Hatcher and Cage. During that sale Owen was obviously bruised and abused and Cage spoke up, shared his number. Call if you need help. Well the call came in the last story and Cage responds in this one. He drags along his sentry wolf shifting and best tracker Damien with him.The situation is set and from there it's a breakdown in communication, a comedy of errors. No one was sharing what they knew with each other. Owen knew about shifters, his past roommate was one, but he wouldn't tell anyone. Damien had his own past and while he went over the basics, he never gave out names. . . Not until his past caught up with him. And we never did get why Jace was in Desire and anything on his background, family, or occupation. It was odd that a human wants a job and work yet Jace never steps up and says what he wants to do.
The story was too short to handle this mating. I wasn't convinced that Damien was on the road to recovery. I didn't see Sebastian welcome Jace and Owen into the pack. There was only Owen with claiming bites and that was just wrong on so many levels. They're all mates and all should have claiming bites. And while it makes it exciting to have some outside influence impact the mating, whether it is kidnapping, evil scientist, both or what, that takes away from mates developing a bond. Not once did Damien introduce his mates to the town and the pack, go for pack runs with them or what they'll do besides live in that cramped bedroom in the pack house. Life is a series of close calls and nothing about how their 'normal' life is impacted. Too much was going on in this eighty some odd page story. And don't forget why a demon is buying a human for a brothel or why a demon is in Christian's territory. How can Christian have no idea about this and no follow up? Three stars. Just too much going on and it took away from the mates. - Dan's Wife

Heart of a Wolf [Wolves of Desire 6] Siren Publishing The Lynn Hagen ManLove Collection edition by Lynn Hagen Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Well another great book from Lynn Hagen she never disappoints me with any book she writes and I can't wait for the next one .....
I love lynn hagen, she's an amazing author and all her series have been awesome, unfortunately this book was very choppy, almost like crucial parts to the story had been removed for some reason, i think if they were still in it or added if they weren't removed, the book would have been alot better. Hopefully the next one is more up to her usual standard, sorry lynn but trying to be honest
Don't get me wrong I love Lynn Hagen' books but she has so many story lines going on in one book lately you have to try to keep up. Like in Jaden's Price I didn't know Jaden had a daughter that Panahasi kept from him.
But I do love her books and always purchase new ones when they come out.
I have been enjoying this series. This book is no exception. I just wish this author would alternate her series. I buy the books, I read them, I enjoy them, but I get frustrated that there will be several books in one series and then she will start another series and it will be months before she gets back to the one she was writing.
Heart of a Wolf was a slow but fun book to read. Damien, Jace and Owen are all damaged in their own way. Damien was betrayed by his best friend and sentry a lab where he was tortured until his rescue. Jace was made homeless living out of his car when his dad found out he was gay. Owen's roommate best him up, tried to force him to work in a whorehouse then sold him to a client. Apart these guys are a mess but together they are strong. Kidnappings and danger with bouts of angst thrown in make this an enjoyable read.
Rating 3 stars
Not my favorite of the series, but I still liked it okay. My main issue with the story was that I didn't really feel the chemistry between the three main characters. Damien, Jace and Owen just didn't mesh. The rest of the story was okay. It did leave some dangling plot points that I am sure will be addressed as the series progresses.
All in all, it was an okay read. I do recommend reading it if you are invested in this series. I'm pretty sure the events in this book will play a part in future installments.
A very thrilling ride with Damien, Jace, and Owen. I was surprised that Damien (wolf shifter) had two mates, but it was also awesome. I've already read all of the series, Zeus's Pack, so I'm used to that concept and love it. There was a lot going on in this situation so it definitely held my interest. There's kidnappers, mad doctors (really hated him), and a brothel king who wanted to force (He sold them) both Owen and Jace into the mess. If I were those two, I'd be happy to stay inside for as long as it takes to get those cruel, evil characters off of the streets, but not them. They still chose to work, luckily they were guarded. I do wish that the mates and the pack would have met Damien's two mates through introductions, especially since he's the only one who has two mates, but still, it was an exciting and enjoyable read. )
